01 / The Moment

Every August, tennis gets a little pinker.

Over 550,000 Honey Deuces are poured every year at the US Open — more than $13 million in cocktails sold in a single two-week tournament. It's not just a drink; it's part of what tennis fans wait all year for.

It's Deuce O'Clock Somewhere is our love letter to that ritual — the walk-up to Arthur Ashe Stadium, the first sip in the late-summer sun, the two most exciting weeks of the tennis calendar.

03 / The Style Guide

What to wear to the US Open.

Late-August afternoons in Queens are hot, humid, and long. The best US Open outfits are casual, breathable, and just polished enough for the ESPN cameras. Here's how each hat plays.

Wear with the Hat

Look 01 — Courtside.

Linen midi dress, canvas sneakers, minimal gold jewelry. The structured hat pulled forward for shade on Arthur Ashe. This is the day-session uniform.

Wear with the Trucker

Look 02 — Cocktail hour.

Wide-leg denim, crisp white tee, trucker pulled low. Honey Deuce in hand, obviously. The move for the transition from afternoon match to evening dinner.

Wear with the Visor

Look 03 — On court.

A tennis dress, a proper skirt-and-tank, actual playing clothes. The visor for full sun coverage without hat hair. For the ones who came to play, not just watch.

04 / The Pairing

What, exactly, is a Honey Deuce?

The official cocktail of the US Open. Created in 2006 by mixologist Nick Mautone for Grey Goose, the tournament's official vodka partner. Vodka, fresh lemonade, a float of Chambord raspberry liqueur, and three honeydew melon balls skewered on top — the reason it looks exactly like tennis balls balanced on the rim of the glass.

Over 2.8 million Honey Deuces have been poured at Flushing Meadows since 2007. In 2024 alone, the tournament sold more than 556,000 of them at $23 each. Our hats are smaller, hold up better in the sun, and can be worn to breakfast.

What should I wear to the US Open?

US Open style is casual-elegant. Late-August in Queens is hot and humid, so lean into linen, breathable cotton, and comfortable shoes for the walk from the 7 train. What's the difference between the hat, trucker, and visor?

The structured hat ($40) is a classic 6-panel silhouette in light gray with pink embroidery — polished, made for the courtside crowd. The trucker ($40) has a mesh back for breathability — same signature, sportier build. Both the hat and trucker are limited-edition and priced accordingly. The visor ($30) is open-crown for full sun coverage — the on-court option for players who came to play.

How much does a Honey Deuce cost at the US Open?

As of the 2025 US Open, a Honey Deuce costs $23 and comes in a commemorative souvenir cup that fans keep. Prices have risen from $15 in 2015 to $23 in 2024 and 2025.

When will my order ship?

Orders placed by August 22, 2026 ship in time for US Open opening week. After that, standard 2 to 3 business day fulfillment.

How do the hats fit?

The structured hat and trucker are unisex with adjustable backs and fit most head sizes comfortably. Both run true to standard baseball cap sizing. The visor is one-size adjustable and fits most head sizes.
